Popping noise only in vocals, not silence??

I’m using Mac OS X Yosemite and was recently recording the first episode of my new podcast with the Blue Yeti Snowball USB mic.
I think I turned up the sensitivity too high by accident and now when I’m trying to edit it, there are popping noises every time someone talks but not when there is silence between people talking. I’m very new to audio editing and I have no idea how to fix this problem, I keep seeing articles about Noise Reduction, but the noise isn’t in the silent non talking bits for me to get a beat on.
Please advise??

Zoom in on one of the parts with the “popping” noise, until you can see the waveform. Are the tops and bottoms flattened out? If so, you have clipping and there’s nothing you can do about it other than to record it again.

Noise reduction will not help. That is for constant background noise such as hiss or hum.
