Hi, whenever I import an already recorded file into audacity and try to equalize it, it crashes. Here are some screenshots that I took after the most recent one. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated as I am unsure what the problem is… Information on my MAc OS etc is in the attached screenshots.

It appears that the screen shot with the most useful information was cut off. Next time this happens please copy and paste the text from the “Audacity quit unexpectedly” dialog. Not all of it, but from the top, including “Thread 0 Crashed” and the full trace of thread 0. That will help us narrow down the problem.
Also, exactly when does the crash occur? When opening the Equalization effect? When applying an equalization curve? When choosing a curve from the “Select Curve:” dropdown?
The above assumes you mean the Equalization effect when you say “try to equalize it”? Were you doing something other than using the Equalization effect?
