Hi,
I feel that the way playback speed control is implemented in Audacity 2.1.3 for Mac OS X is inadequate.
My experience is that once I’ve touched it - I can no longer set it back to 1 (original speed). By moving slider - I can choose between 1.03 and 0.99.
Am I missing something?

To get an exact setting, double click on the slider. That will open a dialog box where you can type the required value (in this case “0”), then click the “OK” button. More info here: http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/transcription_toolbar.html
