Music file from iTune to Audacity

I can drag a music file from iTune to Audacity, but I can not restore the edited music file again.

I have: Audacity 2.1.3 and Mac OS Sierra ver. 10.12.5

Change the name?

Export the repaired file as WAV and try that.

Delete the original and then try the import.

Do you get a message? What happens if you Export from Audacity to the desktop and try import to iTunes from there?

Was it a 99c tune?
