As a computer beginner, I’m having trouble even figuring out how to get sound from the audio-technica turntable to my MacBook Pro OSX 10.9.5. I was able to play LPs and hear audio on Sony HD TV, but not from laptop. I’m not sure if I unplug TV to play on laptop, or do I plug into RCA speakers as well? I hooked up USB from laptop to firewire in turntable. I have to look up what each port does.
Can you please tell me what am I missing? I’m not even sure I’ve opened Audacity app fully, nor how to know if it is installed. thanks
