Audacity 2.1.3 with OSX 10.9.5 USB Cassette

Hello all and thanks in advance for any help,

I’m using OSX 10.9.5 with an intel processor and just loaded Audacity 2.1.3 but it doesn’t recognise the USB Cassette player [Watts USB Cassette player]
I haven’t used either before and while looking online, it appears that previous instructions [screen shots] atr for a different version of Audacity.
Is anyone else having similar issues?

In that case, read our 2.1.3 instructions instead:
Detecting USB and Firewire devices

Recording with USB turntables or USB cassette decks.

If the Mac sees your USB plauyer, did you try Transport > Rescan Audio Devices in the Audacity Menu Bar?
