I am running Audacity 2 on a MacBook Pro with OS10.7.3. I was trying to record a vocal coaching session and after 1 hour, a message popped up (sorry, I didn’t get the message written down) and the recording stopped and Audacity hung up and I was unable to save the recording. According to your FAQ, there is no time limit, but this happened to me twice. The first time, I discovered someone had unplugged the laptop so I figured it was trying to shut down due to the battery running out, but the second time, when I tested it, I had the same thing happen. I’d turned off the screen saver and, the second time for sure, had it plugged in and set not to sleep when plugged in, but it still did it. Any suggestions? I was able to successfully record almost 2 hours using Garage Band, so I don’t think it’s a computer setting issue.
Any help would be appreciated.
