During recording an album clicking the PAUSE button give no result.
Does I do something wrong or is that normal?
I’m using audacity 2.0.0 on a Mac OS x 10.7.4 and i’m a very new user of the mac.

Do you have Sound Activated Recording turned on? Check the Transport Menu.

Having the dutch version I have in the “afspelen” menu checkmarks on
“softwarematig playthrough” and on “geluidsgeactiveerd opnemen”

Uncheck the second of those.
