Hi, I was wondering if anyone had this same problem with Audacity? So far, when I have used the Guitar Rig 5 plug in, when I press on the apply button and close the Guitar rig window, all I get is the flat line as if nothing had been recorded. I prefer to use it like this, since i can always change certain parameters on the plug in to get the sound I want. I can’t seem to ever get it to record the modified track onto Audacity, even though when previewing it on the Plug in, it sounds perfectly.
I am using a Hp 2000 notebook Running windows 10 Home 64-bit
4Gb RAM
AMD E-300 APU with Radeon HD Graphics 1.30 Ghz
I don’t try in real time, I first record the clean guitar, then use the guitar rig plugin to modify, when I hit the apply button, I just get silence and the track is gone.
There’s a free VST called boogex which works with Audacity on Windows.
It does guitar overdrive, speaker cabinet emulation, & reverb.
Some think it’s as good as guitar-rig.
