Plug in not working (LoudMax) - Missing Libraries [SOLVED]

Hi there,

I have a fresh install of Audacity 2.2.2 but can’t get the recently downloaded LoudMax plug in working with it.

I have copied the .dll to the plug-ins folder and tried to enable it via the add new plug-in in Audacity but get the message ‘Could not load the library’.

I have the FFmpeg library saved to ‘C:\Program Files (x86)\FFmpeg for Audacity’

Any thoughts?

Jordan

Ensure that you have the 32-bit version of LoudMax. I don’t know if the 32-bit version is compatible with Audacity, but 64-bit VSTs will NOT work.

Thanks Steve - I have tried both the 32bit and 64bit versions of LoudMax but neither worked :frowning:

UPDATE - WORKING.

No idea why, but this is now working after powering up my laptop today.

Perhaps LoudMax needed a reboot (?)
Thanks for the update. I’ll mark this “solved”.
