I am using Windows 7 and the latest version ,2.2.2, of Audacity. I’m trying to record a 78 rpm record from a USB port on the player to my Lenovo Think Pad computer. This is my first attempt to use Audacity to do this.
The microphone on the computer is picking up sound and showing up in the record level bar.
The program is set to MME, Microsoft Sound Mapper, 2(stereo), and speakers conexant 2061.
I need to turn off the computer microphone and record from the record player instead.
