I am burning discs to play in my car and need to know if there is some kind of “marker” I can create between each song so I can skip from one song to the next.
Now - if I have a disc with 4-5 songs on it and hit the => button, it skips to the next disc, instead of the next song on THAT disc.
Can anyone help?

I use a [u]Cue Sheet[/u]. I usually start with a known-good cue sheet and I edit it with Windows Notepad. I’m not sure if all burning applications support cue sheets… I use ImgBurn.
A cue sheet is especially handy if you have a single “live” recording and you just want the track markers without any gaps/silence between songs.
