Dual Monitor/Track EQ question

Hello everyone

I’ve just downloaded the latest version of Audacity and have also finally gotten a new computer which opens up some options for me. I guess I have 2 questions

\

  1. Is there a plugin which would make the “Mixer Board” more sophisticated? With a basic EQ for each channel for instance?

  2. I have some parts leftover from my old computer and a Dual Monitor setup is now possible; are there any practical applications for Audacity? A friend of mine used to have two set up with one monitor for what looked like a standard mixing board, EQ, sliders etc. He was using protools I believe and I’m not sure if that’s outside the scope of audacity
