I have put some old tapes into Audacity. Now I want to get them into Media Player so I can burn to CD. I don’t know how. I am 85 yrs old and all this technology is WAY ahead of me. Please help!!
The first thing to do is to Export the tracks as WAV files. Note that if you want individual songs to appear as separate tracks, each song must be exported as a separate WAV file.

Please note that the above tutorial is written for the new version of Audacity (2.2.0). If you are using an older version, some of the details may be slightly different, particularly the names of some menu items. I would highly recommend that you use the latest version of Audacity.
You can find the version number of your current version by looking in the “Help menu > About Audacity”.
