I’m using Windows 7. I haven’t use Audacity for years. I can’t seem to remember how to set up the sound for recording and play back. I’m getting confused with the screen settings. I’m using an ION USB turntable for transferring all my old records.
Ensure that you connect the USB turntable to your computer before launching Audacity.
Then, in the device toolbar, select “MME” as the “host”, the USB option as the recording device, and whichever output device.
