Unable to record with win 10 Pro 64 bit.Configuration is like this: Sound Cards:
NVIDIA High Definition Audio
Realtek High Definition Audio
Playback Device
DELL UZ2315H-4 (NVIDIA High Definition Audio)
Recording Device
Stereo Mix (Realtek High Definition Audio)

I have MME, Windows Direct sound, and windows WASAPI. I have it set for MME
I have the Recording Set as ‘Stereo Mix (Realtek High definition)’ with an option of ‘Microsoft sound Mapper - input’
I have it set as 2 Stereo Recording with an option of 1 Mono Recording
I have output set at Speakers/Headphones (Realtek) with option of Mirosoft sound mapper output

Bottom Line I cannot record sounds, music etc that I am hearing on the PC. The speakers are Logitech and plugged into the back plane of the Dell desktop.
Speccy tells me that the audio is NVIDIA High definition audio. Did I pin the speakers to the right receptacle? Is NVIDIA audio not supported?
Help me please.

All I get when trying to record is a downward pointing red triangle and flat lines for the 2 channels’

Help PLEASE

Try WASAPI instead.

Have some sound playing on the computer before you hit Audacity’s record button.
