Hi. So, I have a major problem - whenever I import music and try to play it, audacity only plays static. It doesn’t even play the song - it just plays static. What should I do? Thanks!
What’s the file format? (MP3, WAV, Something else?) The same file plays OK in Windows Media Player?
Try a WAV file, they are usually foolproof.
Are you importing “Raw Data”? …Importing a compressed audio file as Raw Data is the “most popular” way of getting pure static (or there are other ways to screw-up the raw data).
