unable to record stream

Using win 10 and Audacity 2.1.3
I am using a usb headphone with mic.
Settings(screenshot attached) MME, MIC(USB HEADPHONE), STEREO RECORD, SPEAKER (USB HEADPHONE).

Ive tried various other settings but no resolve. I have used this just fine in the past but now I cant seem to figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.

Nope… At least on my computer I’m not seeing anything…

What are the symptoms? Are you getting an error message? Are you seeing “action” on the Audacity meters? Are you getting a blue waveform?

If you’re on a laptop, have you tried recording from the built-in microphone?

I can load files and edit just fine within Audacity, but regardless still can’t record a stream. I’ve gone through all settings I can think of to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

What are you trying to record? Your voice with the USB mic?

We can’t help if you don’t answer the questions.

Please be specific. I presume that you are not referring to a small river.

After reviewing and trying settings in manual and rescan devices, I still get nothing when I try and record.

From the Audacity Help menu, select “Audio Device Info”.
When the info appears, click the Save button and save the info as a .txt file. Then attach the .txt file to your reply.
