Using Windows 10, Audacity 2.1.3 obtained using the .exe installer. I recorded music from a very old vinyl record (vintage 1955 or so, Columbia Records). This is my first attempt at using Audacity and I am unable to play the music from the recorded files. May I have some guidance on this?
Try selecting the playback device you want to use in Audacity’s Device Toolbar.
If you are using a USB recording device you may have to change the Windows Default Playback device too, because the recording device may try to change the default Windows Playback Device. See
