is there a plot spectrum without time limit?

No. If there was, the time limit would then become waiting for the plot to draw on your screen.

and to have the frequency analisys of the entire audio ,for example a song ,should i use a vst effect?
i don’t know any that can scan an entire song they are realtime mostly

We can’t do the search for you. But you can view the whole material in Spectrogram View.

yes i know the different between the names
but i would like to know if i can edit and change the preference for plot spectrum , i need it too to check and compare recording with my external dacs

there are other program like waveshop or Wavosaur that can do it , they are no slow and without limit
audacity is my favorite program , can’t understand why there is the limit and why it has to be slow

It’s not a setting, so you would need to modify the source code and recompile.

Is it not enough to compare a couple of minutes?
If you really need an average over more than 3 minutes, you could analyze the recording in sections, export the results, then use Excel or some other program to average the results.
