How to export sound with 44.1 kHz

Hello,

In Audacity I have 3 mp3 stéréos sound tracks 44.1 kHz, and when I export that (Ctrl + Shift + E), that to cause an mp3 file with 32.0 kHz.
I want that export to cause an mp3 file with 44.1 kHz.

How to do ?

and when I export that (Ctrl + Shift + E), that to cause an mp3 file with 32.0 kHz.

I don’t believe that…

Do you see 44100 as the Project Rate in the lower-left part of the Audacity window? That’s the sample rate (Hz or samples-per-second) Do you see 44100 again when you re-open the MP3?

You may be saving as 32kbps, which is highly compressed (low bitrate, “low-quality”) MP3. kbps is the bit rate (kilo bits per second) and it’s directly related to file size.

Do you have LAME installed? When you see the save (export) dialog, do you see Format Options?
