hello, I’m using windows 10 version 2.1.3 and I installed from the Exe not the zip.

so when I record about 15 or 20 seconds in the audio gets all garbled and not clear. I’ve uploaded the audio files. its only when I play guitar through my mic. so if im just talking it works fine but when I play guitar is when the mess up happens. what do you think could be the problem.
An AUP file is just a text file, not audio. Please see How to post an audio sample.
From your description, you are suffering from Windows recording enhancements for voice. These work well for speech but not for music, so turn them off: http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/faq_recording_troubleshooting.html#enhancements.
