cannot record guitar using guitar rig 5

I am using Guitar Rig 5 a vst for my guitar as amp and effects but the problem is whenever I try to record it with Audacity 2.1.3 on my windows 8.1 pro Dell Studio laptop using Guitar Rig , it does only record a plain guitar tone minus the amp and effect sound. Why is it so?Is there any way that I can record my guitar in Audacity using Guitar rig as my amp and effects chain. On the other hand, when I use my Zoom 707 ii guitar pedals, Audacity clearly records the guitar with the preselected effects(from zoom 707 ii pedals) without any glitches.Could you please advice me on these above mentioned problems?Thank you.

Audacity does not apply plugin effects while recording. You can apply effects after recording, run the standalone Guitar Rig and record computer playback, or run the VST in a real-time VST Host then set Audacity to record the host. Examples are http://www.hermannseib.com/english/vsthost.htm or Minihost from http://www.tobybear.de/files.html.
