Is Audacity able to record a song that is being streamed? If my computer can play it can Audacity record it? If it will, can I control the bite rate ie: 320x44100 or 256x44100?
It’s best not to use abbreviations, because other readers may not understand them.
Audacity records in lossless PCM, not as MP3. The project rate (such as 44100 Hz) bottom left of Audacity lets you choose the sample rate of the recording.
You get to choose the bit rate (such as 256 kbps) for the conversion to lossy MP3 when you export as MP3.
