Ok. So as an opportunity to learn, I found vst-bridge.dll site on the web after the click on site in the list didn’t work, and the .exe file for windows placed it in the plug in list. I can see it in the files ( OS C Program Files x86 Audacity Plug-Ins) I changed preferences in the edit drop down to look for it. Now I am looking in the effects long list and I don’t see vst-bridge on that list. Can someone guide me?
VST bridge was used to add basic support for VST effect in the (now obsolete) Audacity 1.2.x series. It is not required and should not be used with Audacity 2.x
