When recording from a stereo LP, only the left channels are showing any activity on the meter toolbar. Shouldn’t the right channel also show something? Will my recording be in stereo? Thanks for any assistance.
No, they won’t. That’s what happens when you plug something into the Mic-In of your laptop. Mic-In is mono, not stereo.

OK - thanks for the prompt reply. I’m actually plugged into a desktop. Is there another plug-in place besides mic-in that would be better?
Does your computer have a “Line In” socket?
What is the connection on your record player? Is that a “Line Out”?
