I am getting familiar with Audacity, it is a great program, the question i have is when I am transferring my songs from my cassette tape to audacity it keeps continuing copying even when the cassette tape is ended!! Is there a way to make the audacity to stop copying once the cassette tape is ended?

You could try the “Sound Activated Recording” feature.
You will need to carefully adjust the Sound Activation Level so that it records whenever the tape is playing and stops when the tape is stopped.
