I downloaded audacity a few days ago and im just now using it but i couldnt here any sound when i was recording and when i exit audacity and try to listen to music online or in my library no sound comes from my computer at all. Help?

In the “Sounds and Audio Devices” window, try changing the “Default device” pulldown menu to a different device. Make sure that the device is chosen for both input and output and then try listening, i hope it works.
