Was just wondering if Audacity to record sound with a 1411.2 kbps(CD format) bit rate? Thanks! Wanda

Set the default recording format to 44100 Hz 16 bit stereo (“Edit > Preferences > Audio I/O”)
That is the audio CD standard.
