Either I am blind or I cannot. sometimes. Surely I am confused:
First the little x icon appears only on posts that are some sort of new.
Then, while EDITing old post, there is SOMETIMES a delete checkbox above the edit window.
I could not delete many posts.
I’m not certain, but you might not be able to delete a post that someone has replied to.
Do you mean Postreplied or quoted or both? The Forum is too much fuzzy for me.

The forum software is PHPBB.
They have full and comprehensive information about their software on their web-site. They even have a support forum. For questions about the forum software, their site is a better place to look as they are the experts.

As I understand if someone replied to my post, my post is not mine any longer.
