we get a lot of questions that are not exactly audacity issues
suggest we start a resource that lists all the other sources that may be more helpful
eg list all the home recording forums, wikipedia for general facts on db and loudness wars etc, other technical sources for digital algorithms, PC forums for all those win7 vista issues, etc.
these would work best if we could create one page that could be updated with the url and a short description of its content
and group urls under headers like PC, audio general, audio technical, or whatever.
It could be useful, but
(a) it could rapidly get so big as to be unusable (probably won’t know without trying)
(b) would anyone read it? (it could be made “sticky”, and may be a useful resource to point to in replying to questions, much as we do with existing documentation).
(c) who’s going to maintain it? (have you just volunteered?)
Why don’t you start something off - perhaps a page in the “Recording Equipment” section for links regarding hardware, and a page in the “Audio Processing” section for links regarding recording technology/techniques/digital audio etc.

Did you just turn a simple one-page listing of odd links into a multiple wiki page career move?
