Cant seem to get my yeti mic to show up on devices so i can select to record, works when i check system settings on my mac but not on actual application. any suggestions?
Connect the microphone and then start Audacity.

Transport > Rescan Devices.
Pick one. If it’s going to appear, that should do it. It can still get messed up. You can have Audacity set for audio standards the Yeti can’t do. While you’re in Mac System Preferences, do you get a bouncing sound meter when you talk or sing?
What’s the goal? Reading for AudioBooks? Podcast?
