Multitracking Probs Update

I found some advice on here and tried it ;

“The bleeding is down to how your sound card is set up, and nothing to do with audacity. You need to make sure there is no acoustic path from the playback to the microphone (e.g. by using headphones), and also make sue that you select the input to your sound card as the recording source, not an output like “Stereo Mix” that will also contain the played back tracks.”

Lo and behold - it worked…no bleed thru… For about 5 minutes, lol. Then it magically started it’s old tricks again with the bleed thru.
Have i got some sort of audio card demon virus in my pc or what? LOL
Help!

thanks for the ‘replies’…pffft
nice ‘forum’

Nice ‘attitude’

We don’t get paid you know. Beggars can’t be choosers.

Nothing magically happens when computers are involved. It’s possible that you’ve got funky hardware (unlikely though). What were you doing when you started getting bleed-thru again? What input source do you have selected? What kind of equipment are you using.

I’d bet nobody answered your question because you didn’t actually give us anything to go on. Next time you’re looking for someone to blame, try looking in the mirror first.
