I just downloaded Audacity 1.3.12 (beta) to use with Windows 7, but I also needed the Lame_enc_dll file to create an mp3-file.
I followed the route to the download only to get the message that the webpage lame.buanzo.com.ar could not be disdplayed. Luckily I found a link to another download on this forum (http://www.gaclrecords.org.uk/Lame_v3.9 ... indows.exe) and I got the program to work now, but the whole looks kinda messy to me ATM...

Thanks for letting us know - yes the http://lame.buanzo.com.ar/ page seems to be down at the moment. I'll pass this on to the appropriate people and get it fixed.

I also tried to download the LAME file - but it says the website is down. The other link given at the top of this post also did not work. Thoughts?

The alternative worked great. I didn't have the LAME for Audacity folder, but I saved it in another location and it's working great. THANK YOU for your help.
