Would anyone have some direction on how to make it rain (in audio). I have a goal to create some reasonably (or better) realistic rain sounds. The easiest thing to do would be to utilize a sound effect and put it on a loop but I’ve been wondering can this be generated programmatically and still sound pretty realistic.
Particularly if its covered up with dialog and other theatrical stuff, fading in Generate > Noise: Pink should do it. If someone walks from inside to outside, switch from pink to white noise.
These are a cousin to microphone internal noises which I frequently refer to as “Spring rain in the trees.”
It probably wouldn’t work by itself, but if Marsha turns to John and says, “Oh look. It’s starting to rain.”
