adding audacity audio files to video

can audacity be used to insert(dub) its music files into video files.or is there any audacity software that can do this. mickthefish.

You can extract (aka rip*) the audio from the video file, and edit the audio in Audacity,
but you need video-editor software to replace the video soundtrack …

If you’re on Windows then MovieMaker is a (very) basic video-editor from Microsoft & free …

It may already be installed on your Windows OS.

it turns out that inserting music files into video files is much more difficult than i thought,ill keep trying though.there is software out there somewhere!!.mickthefish. :frowning:

Apparently there are “online” video* editors : with them you don’t install software on your machine.
You upload the video, process it “in the cloud”, then download the resulting video …
