Hello,
I work for a company that develops interactive voice response systems. We have folders containing thousands of .wav files. I am trying to run an Audacity Chain on one such folder to normalize the volume of the .wav files. My problem is: the normalization chain seems to change the bit rate and/or encoding of the .wavs, making them useless to me (I need 8000Hz u-law mono).
I noticed that if I “export audio” on a single wav I can go to options and set the properties to what I want. I tried adding an “exportWAV” command to the chain and running it but that didn’t do the trick. Any suggestions?
Thank you,
Jordan
