Envelope track

Is there something like a "global envelope" that controls all tracks simultaneously (similar to the time track). If not, I would like to propose adding an envelope track analogous to the time track.

Could mix down-all the tracks you want to apply the one envelope to into one track, then apply the envelope to that single track.
