Wondering which version usind during the export because it seems mixed...
Viewing properties of the finaly MP3, it seems COMMENTS go into the "old school" (ID3v1?) tag while the other properties go into the ID3v2 section...

If it helps, I am using EXPORT MULTIPLE when I see this.

Audacity uses a generic metadata format. When used on MP3s I think it is basically v2, but note that ID3 v2 is not an official standard and there are many variations (depending on which software you use). Also, Audacity has to try and support metadata on Ogg, Flac, MP3, WMA and so on - and the metadata fields used by these different formats conflict with each other, so Audacity has to make a lot of compromises.

If ID3 tagging is important for your projects I'd recommend using some other tool, such as your normal media player or a dedicated MP3 tagger, so as to get them exactly how you want them.
