how can I up-grade

Hi,,,I use 1.3.12 and I use ubuntu,I have tried to upgrade to 1.3.12,,,,,,so not being a boffin,,,I thought delete the 1.3.12 version and reinstall 1.3.13,,,,,,but no can do ubuntu down loads the older version ,,,,!
I´ve looked through all of audacity, but I cant find anywhere I can do an automatic upgrades.
Can anyone help me .

Probably best to stick with Audacity 1.3.12 for now unless you have a specific reason why you need to update.
Audacity 1.3.13 is the default for Ubuntu Natty.

I think you are right,I dont have a problem with 1.3.12,I like it,,,when I upgrade to natty I will re install it then,many ,,thanks for the reply Steve

If you do an "upgrade" to Natty (as opposed to a clean install) I think that Audacity should be updated automatically.
