Is there any plans to bring VSTi support into Audacity?

I know this is a massive long shot as Audacity is an audio processor and not a sequencer but it'd be really nice to see some VSTi support in Audacity.

No plans, but I'll add your vote for the record.
if you can get recording of Stereo Mix to work in Audacity on Windows (or more complex routing of output to input with Virtual Audio Cable or JACK), then it should be possible to record VSTi's that are playing in a host program.

Add my vote as well. I don't suppose there is any way for the average user to help with making this happen?
